Fronius at LogiMAT 2016

Record figures of visitors at the intralogistics trade fair LogiMAT 2016 in Stuttgart, Germany. More than 43.000 visitors informed their selves about the latest product innovations and trends in intralogistics at more than 1.200 exhibitors’ stands from 42 countries throughout the world. The trade fair took place from March 8th to March 10th.

Again Fronius attended the trade fair as an exhibitor and focused on exhibits like battery charging systems, battery charging stations, battery management systems and services regarding the whole battery charging process. The energy efficiency law, which is applied since December 2015, led a lot of prospective customers to the Fronius booth, because customers and dealers got valuable leads and solutions on cost savings at charging traction batteries as well as the efficient handling of energy at the industrial truck operation.

The trending topic Lithium-Ion propulsion in intralogistics was discussed in a brains trust, and Thomas Schuller, head of product management, joined this discussion of the intralogistics trade magazine “Hebezeuge Fördermittel”. Fronius showed the expert audience that Fronius is dealing with innovative propulsion technologies and depending on customer requirements Fronius finds an efficient, sustainable and cost-efficient solution – for lead acid batteries, lithium-ion batteries or for fuel cell drives.
