Help us celebrate another milestone.

The story began with our company’s founder, Günter Fronius, an electrical engineer who made his living as a repair and maintenance man. Then came the idea that changed everything: Could automobile batteries be recharged? Certain this was possible, Günter Fronius designed and built a device that recharged car batteries, extending their life and reducing waste. And with that, the Fronius company was born. We at Fronius have built our success on the development and manufacturing of smart and sustainable customer-focused solutions for Solar Energy, Perfect Welding, and PerfectCharging. Our company currently operates in more than 20 countries worldwide and in 2020 we celebrated our 75th anniversary globally.

Now, in 2022, we are celebrating twenty years of serving the US market. What started as a small team in Brighton, Michigan, has grown to a team of more than 150 people across the nation and five locations with state-of-the-art welding labs.
