Please send details of the e-mail address associated with your account to our customer services. Please get in touch with us via our contact form.
Please try using the "Forgot your password?" function underneath the login field of Fronius Solar.web first. If this does not resolve the issue, please contact our customer services with details of the e-mail address associated with your user account. Please get in touch with us via our contact form. If you no longer have access to this e-mail address, please include a scan of your valid ID. This is a security measure to ensure your confidential data is not accessed by unauthorised persons.
At Fronius we are constantly striving to improve our products and to adapt them to your needs as much as possible. Only if we know our customers can we offer them the most suitable range of products and services. If you have purchased a Fronius Warranty or Fronius Solar.web Premium, your invoice is automatically calculated based on the personal details you have provided us with.
You can delete your user account at any time. In order to delete your user account, open the user settings section of your profile and select "Delete account". Please be aware that all generation and consumption data from your system will be permanently deleted. If you have purchased a Fronius Warranty or Fronius Solar.web Premium, we are legally required to continue to store your personal details.
  • Have you already added your PV system to Fronius Solar.web? If not, please download the Fronius Solar.start app from the relevant app store. You will then be guided through the process step by step. Alternatively, go to Fronius Solar.web and select "Add your PV system" on the main screen. As soon as your PV system has been added and is sending data to Fronius Solar.web, the device will also be displayed and you will then be able to register it.
  • If you have already added your PV system, it is possible that you have been assigned guest rights for monitoring your system. The inverters associated with a PV system are only displayed if you have supervisor or owner rights.

The PV system should automatically be added to Solar.web while commissioning the inverter. If that is not the case and you want to add the system manually afterwards, you will find all the information in this video

Yes. You can change your details at any time in Fronius Solar.web – simply go to the "User settings" section of your user account. Please note that by agreeing to the general terms and conditions of Fronius Solar.web, you confirmed that your details were correct. Providing incorrect information represents a breach of the general terms and conditions. For this reason, we ask that you always check your information carefully and ensure it is up-to-date.
The general terms and conditions for Fronius Solar.web can be found here.
Your user account and completed orders contain confidential data. For security reasons, and to prevent unauthorised persons gaining access to this data, we only communicate with our users using the e-mail address verified during the registration process. This ensures that we only communicate with the owner of the user account. If you no longer have access to this e-mail address, please send us a copy of your valid ID. This allows us to check that you have the right to access this data.
The data sources for your PV system can be found on the display of your inverter. If you launch the wireless hotspot from the menu, a number, beginning with 239 or 240 is displayed: this is your Datalogger ID (datamanager). Please mention that you'll need your V.Code, if you have a Gen24/Tauro inverter installed. You can find it on your inverters name plate next to your serial number.
Assigning "Guest" rights is most useful for displaying the data from the PV system without the ability to change important parameters of the PV system unintentionally. If a different Fronius Solar.web user account should also have access to the settings, we recommend assigning "Supervisor" rights.
Please contact our customer services. You can get in touch with us using our contact form. As this involves confidential data, and because changing the e-mail address grants you full access to the associated PV system, we ask that you attach a scan of your valid ID in this case.
With Fronius Solar.web you always have an ideal overview of all the important parameters of your PV system. Whether past or current values, you can get more information about your PV production, your consumption and much more with just one click. This is just a fraction of the wide range of information that the multifaceted monitoring and analysis portal Fronius Solar.Web offers. In this video our experts demonstrate how you can get the perfect overview on your smartphone or laptop at any time and from anywhere and which analysis functions can be helpful for you.

With the release of the firmware 1.34 and the release of the feature in Solar.web, settings can be changed on GEN24s, Vertos and Tauros. When clicking on “Device settings” on the page “Settings” / “Components”, the WebUI of the selected device is opened and gives the owner and supervisors of a system the possibility to change all parameters easily and securely. Every time someone accesses a device, it is noted in the message center in Solar.web and the owner of the system can see, which user did some modifications to ensure transparency.
If you don´t want your installer to be able to configure your devices remotely, the permission can be removed from the installer through the permission management in Solar.web. Either permissions are removed completely from the affected user or the user is given the role “Guest”. That way he can still monitor the system, but not perform any changes in Solar.web or on the devices. If you don´t want anybody to be able to access the device remotely, the connection can be deactivated on the inverter under “Communication”, “Solar.web” and “Remote Configuration”.

Fronius Solar.web Premium

Fronius Solar.web Premium refers to the upgrade that is available on your Fronius Solar.web user account. This upgrade offers users the following features in addition to the basic function: a clear overview and evaluation of current and archived data and future forecasts, comprehensive self-consumption analysis, a permanent power consumption overview for cost control, individual reporting, visualisation and analysis of storage systems.
You can choose a Fronius Solar.web Premium membership that lasts for either three months, one year or three years. You will be notified one month before the end of the selected period so that you can renew your membership before it expires, should you wish to do so.
As part of Solar.web Premium, Fronius offers the option of activating a PV production forecast for one PV system. This forecast is displayed in the energy balance of the daily and monthly view. Public Display Mode is a straightforward method of visualizing PV systems on large screens with regular updates of PV system data.
Public Display Mode can be activated in the settings of the respective PV system under the “Permissions” tab.
The mode is a website which is called up by means of a custom link in a browser (Google Chrome is recommended). Therefore, in addition to a browser of your choice, an Internet connection is also required. You also need an active Fronius Solar.web Premium membership.
Yes, it is possible to embed the mode in a website. To make this possible, the X-Frame option has been allowed for this special part in the Solar.web portal. For security reasons, the domain that the site wants to use must be entered during activation.
It is not possible to visualize multiple PV systems. The mode can be activated for one PV system. The following alternative can be used: some browsers offer “slideshow” extensions, which allow you to (automatically) switch between open tabs in the browser. Example: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/revolver-tabs/dlknooajieciikpedpldejhhijacnbda
Public Display Mode cannot display other content.
Yes, if the respective device supports an auto-start function and the link to Public Display Mode is saved as the start page.
Yes, if the respective browser supports full screen mode and this can be called up via the link to Public Display Mode, which is saved as the start page. Example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe” --user-data-dir=c:\temp --start-fullscreen https://www.solarweb.com/PublicDisplay/LogOn?token=4bb83678-2e86-41db-9e5b-72fcabe3a9f0

Public Display Mode can be used on any smart device, but was created specifically for large screens.
Please check whether there is an active Fronius Solar.web Premium membership in your user account. You can see this in your user settings, for example.
If the displayed language of Public Display Mode shall be changed, the browser language needs to be changed. After changing the browser language, the Public Display Mode uses the wished language as well.
Public Display Mode allows you to visualize PV systems on large screens based on the system view in Solar.web. Solar.TV offers additional options to configure the contents of the visualization and to select several PV systems.
Further development of Solar.TV has been stopped, but the platform will still be available for a certain period of time.
Solar.TV will remain free of charge until it is discontinued.

Fronius Warranties

Your Fronius inverter leaves Fronius with a statutory manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty duration and benefits may differ depending on country and region.  You can find detailed information of your warranty in our warranty conditions. If you register your device within 30 months from dispatch by Fronius on the Solar.web platform the warranty start date for your inverter is updated to reflect the actual installation date entered upon registration. This applies to all devices that were delivered from 1st of October, 2018. This video may be helpful for the registration process.
Once you have registered your Fronius Inverter on www.solarweb.com you will continuously receive attractive offers to extend the warranty period of you Fronius inverter. Please note the maximum Fronius warranty duration for your Fronius inverter is 20 years if your inverter is still within the warranty cover period.
You may have received guest rights to monitor your PV system. The registration details of an inverter aren’t displayed, if there are guest rights for its PV system. Please contact the person, who gave you the monitoring rights. They can confirm if a registration was done, can send you your warranty certificate or can change the guest rights to supervisor rights, so that you can see the registration as well.
Please contact our customer service immediately utilising our contact form. Your e-mail address which is linked to your account must be provided.
Once you have completed the purchase of your warranty extension on Solar.web you can find the Fronius warranty certificate on your account next to the registered inverter. In rare cases the availability of the Fronius warranty certificate might be delayed. In this case you will find the remark “Transaction in progress”.
If a free of charge warranty extension is offered in your country (Please refer to the applicable Fronius Warranty Terms and Conditions), you need to sign in to www.solarweb.com and register the inverter (serial number required). Once you have completed the registration you will be prompted to extend your warranty. In order to continue please select “choose warranty” which will take you to the selection of available warranty extension options. This video may be helpful for the registration process.
  • Warranty extensions for your Fronius inverter can only be purchased if the unit is still within the warranty cover period and if the maximum cover period of 20 years has not been exceeded.
  • Only warranty extensions for our Snap-inverter range are offered.
  • The selection of available warranty extension options did not open automatically? Maintenance work might be in progress. Please retry again later. Should the problem persist please contact our customer service utilising our contact form. Your e-mail address which is linked to your account must be provided.
  • If a Service Process which is related to your inverter is still open, you will not be able to finalise the warranty extension process. You will be able to purchase the warranty extension as soon as the Service Process has been completed. Thank you for your patience.
  • For detailed information on available warranty models, see Fronius Warranty Terms and Conditions.

Your Fronius inverter comes with the Fronius Warranty Plus which you can extend. In order to extend the warranty period you need to sign in to your account and register the Fronius inverter. Once your registration is completed you will be offered various options for the extension of your Fronius inverter. This video may be helpful for the registration process.

The cost of the warranty extensions depends on the inverter type. The price per warranty type will be stated in the overview of available warranty types. You can access this via Solar.web.
Fronius offers two types of warranty extensions. You can either chose the Fronius Warranty Plus which covers the cost of material, labour (service lump sum payment for the exchange by the installer) and freight or the Fronius Warranty which covers the cost of material only. A detailed overview of our warranty types is available on our homepage.
No, after you have purchased a Fronius inverter you are able to claim the free of charge warranty extension on www.solarweb.com. The free of charge warranty extension can only be claimed before the standard warranty period has expired. A purchase of an additional warranty is optional. This video may be helpful for the process.
Yes, you can purchase your warranty direct from your installer. Please contact your installer for further information.
Solar.web will always state the current expiry date for your Fronius warranty. In case the warranty expiry date for your Fronius inverter is incorrect please contact our customer service from your e-mail address which is connected to your account utilising our contact form.
In some cases the synchronisation of your warranty cover can take a longer period of time. This will be indicated by the status “Transaction in progress”.
For inverters which have the same prerequisites it is possible to use the collective warranty extension. It allows to add a warranty selection for multiple products simultaneously to the basket.
The warranty terms and conditions as well as the options for the extension depend on the country of installation. You will therefore be able to purchase the warranty extension types offered for the relevant country of installation.
A cancellation of the purchase of a warranty extension can be done within the compulsory period for withdrawal of 14 days from purchase. Please contact our customer service utilising our contact form. Your e-mail address which is linked to your account must be provided. Please note the warranty certificate provided upon purchase of the warranty extension will be void upon cancellation. The verification of the warranty period is based on the Fronius system entry only (the Warranty Certificate cannot be used as proof of warranty cover). The current expiry date for your Fronius warranty will always be stated on Solar.web.
The cost of the warranty extension depends on multiple factors. Depending on the market conditions and the economic situation, we have optimized the prices for the warranty extensions for each country. This enables us to offer you the warranty extension for your Fronius inverter at the best possible price.
Please mention that although Fronius Ohmpilot and Smart Meter own a serial number, these devices aren’t approved for the registration in the Solar.web portal. This is due to the fact that neither a warranty extension nor a warranty certificate are available. Your invoice is proof of warranty.
Since the BYD battery isn’t a Fronius product, it can’t be registered in the Solar.web portal.
No, an existing warranty cannot be transferred to a new warranty.
No, an existing warranty cannot be changed.
A warranty is bound to the serial number as well as the time of commissioning. Therefore, a warranty cannot be changed.

Fronius UP

Fronius UP is an online upgrade program that allows product features on Fronius inverters to be activated online without replacing hardware.
In principle, all Fronius GEN24 inverters can be upgraded, although some functions may not be available for all inverter types or power categories.
Fronius UP.storage is the first feature upgrade on Fronius UP. It includes the activation of the battery connection, as well as the Full Backup emergency power function* for a Fronius GEN24 inverter. With this upgrade, a GEN24 becomes a GEN24 Plus. *Full Backup is not available for the Symo GEN24 3.0-5.0 (Plus). Additional external grid switchover components are required for Full Backup.
Fronius feature upgrades can be performed in all countries where the Fronius webshop is available. An overview of these countries can be found here.
Specific expertise is necessary to acquire and install upgrade packages in conjunction with compatible hardware solutions such as an energy storage device. Therefore, upgrades can only be purchased through installers and certified Fronius System & Solution Partners.
  • You are not registered as an installation or Fronius System Partner company (for example, as a homeowner or wholesaler) and therefore it is not possible for you to purchase and install upgrades. If you are a homeowner and are interested in one of our upgrades, please contact your installer.
  • You do not have a Fronius customer number, or incorrect or inconsistent master data is stored in your Fronius user account. In such cases, please get in touch with us via our contact form.
  • There are generally no feature upgrades available for the type of inverter or power category.
If upgrade-compatible inverters as well as the Fronius webshop are available in your country, you need to log into www.solarweb.com and register the device with its serial number. After completing the registration, if you are a Fronius System Partner/installer you have the option to purchase the Fronius upgrade in the Fronius webshop.

If the Fronius GEN24 is connected to the internet, the upgrade will be installed automatically.

If the Fronius GEN24 does not have a connection to the internet, establish a connection or perform the upgrade manually by first downloading the licence locally onto your PC. However, Fronius recommends that the upgrade process be performed with the inverter connected to the internet, as it is much simpler and more time efficient than without an internet connection.

Once the inverter is connected to the internet and the firmware of the inverter is up to date, the upgrade should be active on the inverter within a few minutes. If not, please restart the inverter.
Yes, an upgrade can be conveniently carried out in the office, for example, before installation and commissioning. As an installer, you need the serial number and the V.code of the inverter to register the product on Fronius Solar.web and then purchase the upgrade online.
The respective prices are displayed with the inverter in the Fronius webshop and can vary depending on the power category and function package.
When you purchase a feature upgrade, the function is permanently activated for a specific inverter (assignment is based on the serial number). With the exception of replacement devices, the licence is not transferable to other users or devices and remains linked to a device for an indefinite period of time.
Please note that the inverter firmware for Fronius feature upgrades must always be up to date. Fronius therefore recommends establishing a permanent internet connection with the inverter, which, in addition to numerous other advantages, enables a simple and quick update process.

The Fronius Wattpilot is an intelligent charging solution for everyone with an electric car. The Fronius Wattpilot is available in two versions - the permanently installed Wattpilot Home for your home and the mobile Wattpilot Go for on the way. The device can be operated via the associated Solar.wattpilot app, which also provides an overview of the charging process. The intelligent plug-and-play charging solution has two different charging modes, the Eco and the Next Trip mode. In addition, the Wattpilot is PV-optimized: The car can therefore be charged with excess solar energy in ampere steps in a particularly cost-efficient and sustainable manner.
If you choose to install the Fronius Ohmpilot, your PV system will no longer supply your house with electricity alone, but will also provide heat, making an additional solar heating system unnecessary. The Fronius Ohmpilot is mainly used to heat water. However, the device can also be used for space heating during transitional periods, as well as heating water. The Operating Instructions for the Fronius Ohmpilot contain additional case studies that you may find useful:

Fronius System Extensions

No, as our platform Solar.web is specialized on visualizing solar energy flows.
No, the Wattpilot has to be deleted from its current PV system in Solar.web before it can be added to another PV system.
Yes, multiple Wattpilots can be added to a PV system in Solar.web.

For Wattpilot data to be displayed in Solar.web, ensure the following:

  • The Wattpilot (as well as your inverter) must be added to your PV system in Solar.web in the tab "Settings" - "Components". If this tab is not visible, please ask your installer to assign you "Owner" or "Supervisor" rights for your PV system.
  • The Wattpilot requires firmware version 36.0 or higher. You can update your Wattpilot in the Solar.wattpilot app in the tab "Internet".
  • The Wattpilot needs to be paired with your inverter. Go to the tab "Settings" - "Cost Optimization" in the Solar.wattpilot app to pair your Wattpilot with an inverter.
  • If the paired inverter is a GEN24 or Tauro, firmware version 1.23 or higher is required. You can update your inverter in Solar.web in the tab "Settings" - "Components".
  • Both the Wattpilot and the paired inverter must be connected to the internet.
If the Wattpilot has no internet connection (e.g. due to weak WLAN), live and history data is not available in Solar.web. History data will not be restored when the Wattpilot reconnects to the internet.Furthermore, Wattpilot data is only shown if the Wattpilot is paired with an inverter of the same PV system in Solar.web. For example, no data is displayed in Solar.web for periods when the Wattpilot Go is used on the go.
When the Wattpilot is handed over to the new owner, the device has to be deleted from the original pv system in Solar.web and has to be added to the new one.
