Agricultural enterprise cools its wine using solar energy

The owners of the “La Louvière” vineyard in the south of France use photovoltaic electricity to cool their wine and keep it at the perfect temperature. With outdoor temperatures rising to +40°C in the summer, the energy needs of this agricultural enterprise are well above average. A 100 kWp roof-mounted photovoltaic system allows them to generate the majority of their power needs themselves.
