Perfect Charging

Fronius at LogiMAT 2019

Evento

03/04/2019 / Stuttgart / Germany
Fronius Perfect Charging was in attendance at LogiMAT 2019, showcasing its smart solutions for combining battery charging technology and photovoltaic systems, and gave attendees an exclusive glimpse into the future of its Selectiva battery charging systems.
From 19 to 21 February, Fronius Perfect Charging attended LogiMAT 2019 in Stuttgart and demonstrated how forklift truck operators can make their intralogistics more sustainable. Our pilot projects on the combination of battery charging technology and photovoltaic systems certainly captured the imagination here. We also gave a sneak preview into the future of the Selectiva series, generating a great deal of interest among the attendees.
The expert audience at LogiMAT was able to get an overview of our complete portfolio at the Fronius stand: With modern battery charging systems, intelligent battery management and a comprehensive range of services relating to the charging process, Fronius enables its users to lower their energy consumption when operating electric forklift trucks and reduce their costs and impact on the environment in the process. Solutions on show included our Selectiva chargers, featuring the Ri charging process, which charge lead/acid batteries in a particularly economical way. As the process does not follow a rigid characteristic, the battery only receives as much current as it needs during the charging phase. This significantly reduces energy consumption and CO2 emissions.
Fronius also offers suitable battery charging systems for operation using lithium-ion batteries. We also provide fleet operators with comprehensive advice, regardless of the technology used, and support them in designing their ideal charging infrastructure.
The combination of battery charging technology and photovoltaic systems was a key focus at our stand. Thanks to its Solar Energy business unit, Fronius has a wealth of expertise in the area of renewable energies. The interplay with the innovative battery-charging technology holds great potential for optimisation: the user saves on energy costs, is more independent from the mains power grid, and simultaneously improves their carbon footprint and environmental impact. We were fortunate to be able to present some initial successful projects at LogiMAT, which allowed us to give visitors to our stand a good idea of our new energy concept.

Fronius also provided an exclusive sneak preview into the future of its Selectiva chargers. We have some exciting news relating to this in the pipeline, which you can look forward to in the coming months. You will find further information on this at regular intervals on our website and in our newsletter.
