This year’s international trade fair for intralogistics applicationsand process management was another resounding success.More than 55,000 visitors from 40 countries used the opportunityto visit the 117,000 m2 of exhibition space to find out more aboutthe numerous innovations and latest technical developments onshow. Fronius Perfect Charging was one of the exhibitors andpresented a broad selection of its portfolio of battery chargingsystems, battery management systems and services coveringthe entire charging process.

Visitors were able, for example, to familiarise themselves with theRi charging process. Fronius has developed the most advanced,most efficient and gentlest charging process to date for lead acidbatteries. The process minimises the energy losses during themain charging phase that would otherwise adversely affect theenergy balance and cause damaging warming of the battery.Fronius also helps forklift truck dealers provide the most costeffectiveand user-friendly configuration of rental forklift fleets. TheSelectiva chargers are flexible enough to allow batteries ofvarying voltages and capacities to be charged. Among thebenefits are their simple and standardised operation, low weight,small footprint and low operating costs. The Fronius stand alsofeatured the I-SPoT Viewer visualisation tool and the “Cool Batteryfeatured the I-SPoT Viewer visualisation tool and the “Cool BatteryGuide Easy” information and management system, whichfacilitates the optimum utilisation of the battery pool.

It wasn’t just the visitors who went away happy: the Fronius standteam were also delighted with their three days of work. They wereable to point to a significant increase in the number ofinternational contacts and reflect with pleasure on the numberwho had potentially interesting concrete requirements.
