06/10/2017Summarising the five-day event, Harald Scherleitner, Global Director Sales & Marketing at Fronius Business Unit Perfect Welding, said: “We are very happy with how the fair went, and received a number of high-quality enquiries.” This year Fronius attracted around 1,600 visitors to the futuristically styled trade fair stand.
Digitisation was not only the central theme of the Fronius stand at the trade fair, but there was also noticeably increased interest in digital products and their networking possibilities on the part of the visitors. The Fronius data management system, WeldCube, and virtual welder training in the form of the Virtual Welder were particularly relevant here. “We noticed a great deal of interest in our innovations in manual welding systems, such as the Fronius TransSteel 2200 and 2700, or the new series of devices for the TIG market, which includes the Fronius MagicWave,” adds Scherleitner.
Fronius Perfect Welding will be back at the next SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, scheduled for 2021 in Essen. Summing up the importance of the trade fair, Harald Scherleitner concludes: “SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN is an ideal platform for us to position ourselves as the innovation leader. The fair primarily offers an opportunity to engage in a dialogue with our customers and interested parties in order to find out which welding technology challenges they face on a daily basis. Only then can we support them with the solutions they need.”
