The agricultural company „Deli-Co“ Farmstyle Butchery is a nationally recognised brand which supplies over 800 businesses with meat.
As the farm consists of several buildings, Hendri Truter, the owner of the company, decided to install a 147 kWp PV System on multiple roofs of his farm. With a production of about 243 megawatt hours of energy generated each year, the system achieves a remarkable self-consumption rate of 90%. On top of that it helps „Deli-Co“ to use carbon neutral solar electricity. The site is saving 133.12 tonnes of CO₂ emissions every year.
A Fronius Smart Meter has also been installed which provides all information about energy consumption and production and displays it in the Fronius Solar.web. Insolation and temperature data for the surrounding area can also be presented there.
Claude Peters Managing Director at RenEnergy said:
„The Fronius string level monitoring was the perfect solution for the configurations, as well as the dual MPPT (maximum power point tracking) on the Symo 20kW inverters for the multiple roof orientations. The Fronius monitoring portal is exceptionally user friendly, with great customer support. We selected these efficient and reliable inverters as the optimal solution for this installation.“
