Success for Fronius at CeMAT 2016

One thousand exhibitors from 44 countries, over 4,000 innovations and tens of thousands of visitors from around the globe: the intralogistics trade fair CeMAT returned this year from May 31st to June 3rd in Hanover. It was the first time Fronius presented itself as a cost-optimisation partner and process expert on every aspect of charging traction batteries. Visitors were able to have a close look at our products and find out more about our range of software and services on our stand, which covered an area in excess of 100 m2. Our colleagues were also on hand to answer countless questions on current industry trends and topics – from fuel cells to the new energy efficiency legislation.

Our battery management system, Cool Battery Guide Easy, which we installed on the stand together with ten battery charging systems from the new Selectiva 2 kW range, proved to be a real eye catcher, with visitors having the chance to try it out live and interactively. The innovative Fronius solutions for alternative drive technologies were also on show, including our new fuel cell model, as well as our 30 kW charger for lithium-ion batteries, which Fronius developed with a well-known forklift manufacturer.

Another special highlight was the awarding of the international intralogistics prize, the IFOY Award, which Fronius is sponsoring this year for the first time. Head of division Harald Scherleitner gave the speech for the “Warehouse Truck lowlifter” category and presented the prize to the team from forklift manufacturer CROWN. CeMAT will return in April 2018 when it will run in parallel to the Hannover Messe – it’s already a fixed event in the Fronius calendar.
