IFOY Award 2019

Fronius Perfect Charging again appeared as official technology partner at the „International Forklift Truck of the Year Awards“ (IFOY). During the Testing Days from March, 1st until March 8th 2019 the most innovative devices and solutions in the intralogistics were put through their paces by international journalists and jurors.

Traditionally, the cheers of the winners were huge when the six laudators revealed the well-kept secret about the winners in the Great Festival Hall of the Vienna Hofburg. Chairman of the board Herbert Mühlböck as laudator handed over the price in the category “counter balanced truck“ to the company UniCarriers Europe for the development of the TX3 3-wheel. Fronius Perfect Charging used the top-class event for interesting talks and networking in the intralogistics industry.

And the next IFOY Award will come. Via the application portal companies of innovative products and systems can submit their warehouse projects and new developments for the IFOY Award 2020 during the next weeks

Under a short list of only 15 nominees for the intralogistics-innovation of the year 2019 companies like Jungheinrich, Hubtex, Combilift, Still or UniCarrieres were included. Over the course of one week, the testers lifted, drived, measured, stored and discussed in serveral jury sessions until the finalists for the Award were defined.

The secret about the winners in the six different categories was this year revealed in the Great Festival Hall of the Vienna Hofburg. On April, 26th more than 600 invited guests met in the former Habsburg Residence – amongst others Germans Federal Minister of Transport Mag. Andreas Scheuer and undersecretary of state for the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior Mag. Karoline Edtstadler took part. journalists and jurors.
