More information

Kisima Farm Ltd. was founded in 1920 with a focus on sheep farming and wool production. Today the company has turned its attention to blight-free potatoes as well as flowers. In order to cut energy costs and help protect the environment, the decision was taken to invest in a photovoltaic system.

As feeding energy into Kenya’s public grid is not permitted without express agreement, the PV system had to support a zero feed-in function. Together with the ease of installation and exceptional support service, this was a critical factor behind the decision to opt for Fronius.

The installation could not have been completed more smoothly and the system has been operating perfectly ever since it was first commissioned,” reports a delighted Evert Lodder from the installation company Greenspark (K) LTD.
