Cannes Corporate Media & TV Award for Fronius TransPocket promotional film

Event

2017-09-28 / Cannes
The Corporate Media & TV Award Gala took place in Cannes on 28th September 2017. The CASAMEDIA film production crew won a silver award in the “Marketing Communication B2B” category for the Fronius promotional film “Every day is a new beginning” about the manual power source, TransPocket.

The sun rises over the mountains and an arc glints off a suspension bridge, while an off-screen welder describes her varied and challenging workday. Atmospheric music sets the scene and conjures the sense of a cool mountain breeze. So begins the TransPocket promotional film – produced by CASAMEDIA for Fronius Perfect Welding. It had already won multiple awards at the 2016 Film Forum in Linz, including the top prize for best film music. Now it has managed to win over the expert jury in Cannes, winning the silver dolphin in the “Marketing Communication B2B” category.

Every year, the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards recognise the world's best corporate videos, online media and TV documentaries at one of the world's most famous centres of film – Cannes. Founded by Filmservice International in 2010, the festival has become the world's leading event for corporate films.

The success of the festival is due to the constantly rising number of submissions, and high-quality entries, as well as a star-studded jury panel (including Oscar and Emmy winners) and acclaimed participants from all five continents. The sought-after dolphin trophies (gold, silver, black, blue and the white dolphin –the Grand Prix) are awarded every autumn in Palm Beach Cannes.
