Production Digitization: Fronius at the Production Technology Colloquium 2019

This year’s Production Technology Colloquium will be focusing firmly on the question of digitization in manufacturing. The main themes to be discussed will be automation, the digitization of assembly processes, and artificial intelligence (AI).

The International Production Technology Colloquium (PTK) has established itself as a multi-industry forum for trends and solutions in the production sector. The conference recognizes successful strategies, innovative technologies, and real-life approaches with which manufacturers can secure a lasting competitive edge.

Fronius International will be represented by Stephan Egerland (Fronius R&D and Chair of the Technical Management Board of the IIW). In his presentation he will talk about the digital revolution in the welding technology sector – from the conceptual origins of the digital evolution through to Industry 4.0.
