India Stainless Steel Expo 2023 (ISSE) is over with Tremendous Success by setting new business relations in the stainless-steel industry

India Stainless Steel Expo 2023, the highly anticipated exhibition, conference, and awards, concluded for 3 days, leaving attendees and participants in awe of its remarkable success. The event, which took place in India Expo Centre, Greater Noida, showcased an unparalleled combination of innovation, collaboration, and expertise, propelling it to become a new benchmark in the Stainless-Steel industry.

India Stainless Steel Expo 2023 brought together the industry's leading experts, enthusiasts, and stakeholders from the stainless-steel industry across India. With a focus on “Stainless Steel”, attendees were treated to an array of thought-provoking sessions, interactive and engaging discussions, and demonstrations that delved deep into the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.

In addition to the thought-exchange aspect, ISSE 2023 provided ample networking opportunities. Welding plays a crucial role in the stainless-steel industry, as stainless steel is widely used in various applications due to its corrosion resistance, strength, and aesthetic appeal. Welding stainless steel presents unique challenges compared to other materials, and specialized techniques are often required to ensure high-quality welds.

Fronius India showcased welding capabilities with live robotic welding as well as manual welding machines, along with a variety of welded stainless-steel samples, to the visitors. ·

• With the MagicCleaner device series, cleaning, polishing, and marking of stainless steel is possible with our innovative technology for the treatment of TIG welds. In contrast to mechanical or chemical cleaning, the material surface is not affected. No reaction times are required. And an additional passivation process is no longer required. ·       
• We showcased Fronius CMT (Cold Metal Transfer) robotic welding process that achieve optimum results when joining different materials, for example steel and aluminum. CMT welding is ideal for joining steel and aluminum, as the galvanized steel plate is wetted by this braze-welded joint, while the aluminum melts. Furthermore, the CMT welding process is also suited to the virtually spatter-free brazing of hot-galvanized and electrolytically galvanized sheets with a welding wire made from a copper-silicon alloy. Minimal distortion of the galvanized sheet occurs, and the light-gauge welding of aluminum sheets (from 0.3 millimeters) is also possible, whereby the low heat input eliminates the need for pool support. Equally impressive results are achieved when welding stainless steels and magnesium. ·

Along with the exhibition, conference, Fronius bagged the prestigious award under the category of "Sustainability Initiatives: Best Gender Equality Initiative," for the activities we do in promoting diversity in Welding! We promote our youth to make “Welding” as the career choice especially for young females as we wish to open more opportunities for women in welding! We are organized a full welding training batch for women welders to go through the complete 45 days course on Skilled Welding with our FACT program. This program is based on merit, and scholarships can be offered.

In the stainless-steel industry, skilled welders with expertise in the properties of different stainless-steel alloys and welding techniques are highly valued for producing reliable and durable products.
