The fifth International Automotive Conference offers you the chance to get first hand information from a who's who of joining technology experts.

Under the motto “Joining - Smart Technologies”, notable figures from all over the world will give lectures and host discussions on joining technologies in the automotive and component supply industries. The event will be held on 10 and 11 May 2017 at Fronius’ production and logistics site in Sattledt. Under the chairmanship of Dr. Michael Zürn (Daimler AG), Dr. Florian Öfele (BMW AG), Steffen Müller (Audi AG) and Dr. Klaus Koglin, the audience of industry stakeholders will be given the latest insights into the world of research, development and production. 

The aim is to host the event according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings.

Program:

The program will be presented with begin of February 2017.

Mobility in the future, Industry 4.0 and smart production and its effects on joining technology will all be examined by futurologist, innovative thinker and visionary Kai Gondlach in his address entitled “Smart mobility – how we will get around in the future”. Physicist Werner Gruber will make some childhood dreams come true by beaming himself and the delegates up to the Starship Enterprise and explaining the physics behind it. As well as ensuring a thorough exchange of knowledge and ideas, there will also be an emphasis on allowing the speakers and delegates to network with each other over the two days, for which the evening event on 10 May at the former Minorites' monastery in Wels will provide ample opportunity.
