Leading the Way in the World of Welding: Fronius at GST 2019

At this year’s GST, the focus will be on the offshore and shipbuilding industries as well as plant, pipeline, and container construction. In their lecture on “Education and learning in the digital age of welding technology”, Josef Kreindl and Nikolaus Zauner from Fronius International will give an insight into modern teaching methods for welding technology.

A second part of the conference will be dedicated to arc welding. Martin Willinger, Expert User for TIG welding at Fronius International, will speak about TIG keyhole welding with a directly cooled tungsten electrode while also outlining the advantages and possible applications of the process.

Conferences such as the GST are important events for the welding technology sector, as they provide a forum in which important subjects affecting the future of welding can be presented and discussed.
