There was a great deal of interest in Fronius products among FABTECH visitors. More than 50,000 guests set a new record for visitor numbers. In two shipping containers the visitors had the chance to put the Fronius products on display to the test. In addition, there were live automotive welding demonstrations on galvanised steel, as well as pipe welding using the FlexTrack welding carriage. As part of the focus on digitisation, the WeldCube data management system was also featured. The system collected and analysed live data from the stand’s weld zones.
In a separate section of the Fronius trade fair stand, a communications zone gave the numerous visitors an overview of the latest welding systems, and was the perfect location to have a one-on-one discussion with Fronius specialists. A robot with a CMT and push-pull system and an online demo shop were among the highlights on show.
Another area of the stand was dedicated to the Wounded Warrior Project (WWP). The WWP is a charitable organisation for veterans of military operations after 11th September 2001. As part of a competition, the trade fair visitors were invited to leave a personal drawing inspired by this topic. The lucky winner received a TransPocket 180 Veterans Camouflage Edition from Fronius USA. Up to 50,000 USD of the proceeds from this special edition product will go to the WWP. Each visitor to the Fronius stand also received a camouflage baseball cap featuring the Fronius and WWP logos. Fronius USA would like to use this campaign to express our gratitude to all the veterans who now work for the company, as well as veterans across the USA.
The next FABTECH USA will take place in Atlanta from 6th to 8th November 2018.
