Film Forum Linz is a biennial competition held by the Upper Austria Chamber of Commerce to find the best promotional films and corporate videos in Austria. This year 101 entries were submitted in six categories. Fronius was commended in the “Corporate Video” category and won first place in the “Best Film Music” category.
The main challenge in producing the film was undoubtedly the unpredictable nature of the weather in the mountains. Flexible planning, obsessive monitoring of the weather reports and countless telephone calls were needed to pinpoint exactly the right time. The entire process proved to be a real test of nerves for all involved – and for none more so than Michaela Matschinger (Marketing Communications). Not to be overlooked were the lighting conditions and extremely tough setting of a factory hall too, which can also bring a film team right up to their limits. But in the end all the effort was worth it, as the film itself impressively shows. Accompanied by music from the composer Leon Purviance, Fronius and the TransPocket 150/180 were one of the best entries.
