New Fronius location in Argentina

Fronius expands its global presence with the foundation of a location in Argentina. The new branch will start operations at the beginning of next year. For more than ten years, Fronius technology has been represented in the Argentinian market by RH Welding S.A., based in Buenos Aires.

The aim of the new Fronius subsidiary is to better support the existing representative and thereby increase the service quality for the numerous Argentinian production sites of customers such as VW or Daimler and to further intensify customer relations through the increased local presence.

Fronius sees great potential in Latin America: international companies, such as those in the automotive sector, have a particularly strong presence in Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. Fronius has had its own subsidiaries in the two northern countries since 2002 (Brazil) and 2007 (Mexico). With the establishment of the site in Argentina, the business activities in this market, with the third-largest import volume for welding equipment in Latin America, will now also be strengthened.
